Alitalia orders a new door trainer for A320/A321 from ACSL

Alitalia and Atlantic Cabin Simulator Ltd (ACSL), exclusively represented in Italy by G&G Aviation, signed a contract for the manufacture and supply of a Door Trainer for Airbus A320 and A321.

The simulator, that will represent in a single equipment the main door L1 (common to the two aircraft) and the two specific emergency exits, will be delivered in the spring of 2001.

Alitalia decided to replace their A321 equipment both to include the emergency exit specific to the A320 (subsequently introduced in the airline fleet) and to improve the training quality with a product built with the most advanced technologies and the highest manufacturing standards.

ACSL has infact over 25 year experience in the manufacturing of cabin simulators for emergency and commercial training and has recently supplied to British Midland (see pictures) and Monarch Airlines, door trainers for the narrow body Airbus.

As a demonstration of the appreciation obtained by ACSL worldwide a few customers can be named: British Airways, Kuwait Airways, Deutsch BA, Air Mauritius, Silk Air, Gulf Air etc.
