G&G Aviation has recentely added to its consulting services the following technical activities:

• Inspection of aircraft and engines
• Aircraft technical acceptance
• Assistance in the workscope definition for repairs and periodic checks of aircraft and engines
• Technical representation c/o third party facilities

As Director Technical Services G&G Aviation appointed Roberto Leoni, one of the most appreciated italian aviation experts. He has gained over thirty years of experience in various positions including: Head of Alitalia engine shop and Air One Technical Director at company start-up.

Aircraft inspection (fixed and rotary wings) is done to determine their status prior to a possible acquisition as well as to support the aircraft commercial evaluation aimed to financing.

 In addition to the phisycal inspection of the aircraft, special attention is given to the review of the documentation which, under the current rules requiring traceability back to birth for any component, may result extremely important also for perfectly efficient aircraft.

The technical acceptance service, for both new and used aircraft, is mainly offered to those airlines, specially start-up, that are still lacking the resources or the experience to carry such a delicate activity.

Both the inspection and the technical acceptance services can be very important for the customer of G&G allowing it to obtain benefits during the purchase negotiation or to verify the consistency of the aircraft at delivery with the contractually agreed terms.

Obviouslly any discrepancy discovered during such activities may result in economic relief ranging from a few thousand up to some hundreds of thousand U.S. Dollars.

With reference to the fleet management, G&G can also assist, the customer technical depts in the definition of the works to be performed in order to optimize the cost effectiveness of the maintenance events.

Finally in case the maintenace is performed c/o third parties, as increasingly preferred by small and large operators, G&G may activate, on behalf of its customer, a field technical survey to verify the correct execution of the checks in accordance with the technical and economical requirements established in the contract.
