WheelTug system is
ready for Test Drive
After an accurate
development and testing of all components, also to obtain data required for the
certification, WheelTug system is ready for a test drive which will take place
on 15 September 2020 at Memphis Airport (tennesse, USA) with a fully
equipped B737-800.
As known WheelTug allows the pilot to move an aircraft for taxiing without using the jet engines but thanks to an electric engine powered by the APU.
For anybody interested it will be possible to attend the Test Drive event both in person and on line (on Zoom), simply registering on WheelTug web site.
